This island campsite is a real treat after a BWCA camping trip. It has a picnic table, and a huge kitchen, with a state-park-like fire ring. The landing is sandy and shallows up well. The latrine is the nicest I've seen, as it is ensconced in a forest of young pines; I called it the "throne room". The Ham Lake fire only touched the west end of the island so there are many trees. Bridal falls is just a short paddle to the mainland.
