I thought this was the site I wanted until I boarded it! Not only was the lay of the land bad (e.g., cramped, not level, no flow) but others had left fish heads, half burned trash and toilet paper around the site.

This is an odd site. The kitchen is shoved out onto a spit of land. The island is pretty as is the lake, but the site isn't great.

Other than the fact it is on a scenic island, this site didn't have much going for it. The kitchen area is steeply sloped, the tent pads are plagued with sizable roots, and there is a precipitous drop just a few feet from the fire grate. I've seen several sites that I would rate worse but, this one ranks near the bottom for sites I've actually stayed at. There was a stack of 4 huge boulders in camp (not man made). They served no practical purpose but, provided some unique scenery & a place for our young daughter to play.
