We didn't stay here (we stayed at the island site instead), but the fishing was good and this site was nice and open.

Nice place for a rest after six river portages. Close to good fishing. Smallish landing is OK, as is kitchen. Lots of open space.

Small site on the south side of an island. Good takeout

One of the few points left unburnt from 1995 fire. Grove of spectacular Red and White pines. Tiny beach for landing. Fairly open, rolling smooth ledge rock terrain moderately elevated above water. Deep enough to fish from shore. Room for several tent sites.
