We explored and fished Bud Lake on 9/4/15 and saw no sign of a fireplace or any tent pads at the place indicated on the map. We climbed on the rocky area beside the falls for photos and even searched over towards the portage. ?????????????

Stayed here in 2009. This is a wonderful campsite located beside a cascading waterfall. Very open site with a nice firepit. Once tent pad is quite good, while the other is somewhat marginal and uneven.
