Two good fire pits - one up top, one sheltered from anything but a SE wind. Great little canoe cove. Some deep water for swimming and fishing. There's even a possible 12-14 foot cliff to jump from - we did not, and you should of course check depths carefully before leaping. That cliff also had some great sunset views. Site is open and the tent locations are up top...we used the upper kitchen, so you are ascending and descending a lot. Firewood is nonexistent as this is a popular site...you have to fetch that from across the water. And along those lines, this island is way too small to support any latrine use. Take your TP when you run for firewood. 3.389 stars.

Pine island site, takeout is in a small sheltered cove in the southeast corner of the island. Two firepits (one sheltered, one exposed), wide variety of open and sheltered tent spots. 3.5 stars - would have been at least 4 stars, but the island is too small for a latrine.
