i came thru here in may 2024. my impression is that this lake does not see as much traffic as other areas in this beautiful park. i thought the lake was quite nice. i stopped at this spot briefly. i would pass on this one but it would do in a pinch. i wont go into detail but there are other sites avail that i came across that are not on these maps, and others that seemed much nicer than the current reviews gave them credit for. i would love to return another time and spend a few days on this lake. i even caught a lake trout. so if i caught one, they trout fishing must be good here. i only have caught one other lake trout in my life, and it was on this same lake over 40 years ago.
