The placement is wrong on most maps: this site is right on trail with a short walk down to the lake. It doesn't get much use, have much for benches, or offer much space. Its biggest issue is that, with all the downed trees and the steep incline, it is very challenging to find a feasible bear hang tree. If you walk down to the shore, a path *does* lead 0.1m to the next site westward, which is similar but an improvement across the board. Counterintuitively, this lower area may be the best bet for a good hang.

Basic campsite that I stayed at while hiking. Away from the water, but has access to the water. Would be tough to find from the lake and have heard canoes had a tough time finding it. Right on the border route trail so hikers would go through the campsite. The campsite a half mile east is better. Protected from lake and possibly buggy as there would not be much of a breeze through.
