Pretty nice site. As others have said, not a great landing, but shaded and pretty open on the northern site. Paths throughout island. Good SMB fishing from shore.

There are two sites, which has been noted before. The one on the north side is the main site but you can stay at the south side, which is what we did since we did not pay attention to comments. The south side is 2* and works okay.

Great kitchen/rock table! Canoe landing wasn't great but good shelter. North side is the actual camp. Good fishing

There are actually two campsites on the island, north and south. The north side is the main one. Well developed sitting area, rock tables, and fire pit. Mature red pines, needle carpet. Main thing it lacks in a campsite is a commanding view, hence less than 5 stars. 2+ tents on north, more in a pinch. South side is less used, but can be a good refuge on a N wind. Fire ring there, not a lot of other development. Canoe takeout is OK but not great, fairly sharp cobble, treacherous footing when wet. Firewood has to come from elsewhere.
