Partially intact, and now the best option on the lake (faint praise indeed). Brushy after the fire, though most of the mature trees survived. Buggy. Good kitchen and canoe landing; very shallow water. 1.874 stars.

I can see why this site would be a little lower rated. There is a massive "pond" right behind it and it is heavily wooded. I am guessing it could get quite buggy. But for late May, it was perfect. Fish right in the cove out front - include lake trout in only 5 feet of water - and a great breeze coming straight into the campsite. Also, with the recently burn this is the only real campsite left on the lake if you have hammocks. We got 4 hammocks and maybe could have gotten a 5th one.

This site does exist, but it I would rate it only "usable." The only reason to use it would be if you get to Ted and site HE is already taken. I'm guessing a bit about two tent pads. The site had not been used in a little while when we checked it out; there was a large plant that looked like poison ivy growing in the fire ring, so be careful!
