Not many sites on this lake so we took it but would have passed it over otherwise. It's up high and involves carrying your gear up some steep rocks. Good views though once you get there. Lots of little critters running around at night. Good swim spot. McAlpine lake has some huge northern pike. I caught 2 over 30". Lots of bass just east of the beaver dam also.
