Very exposed small island site with one good and another decent tent pad. I can understand why this site isn't great in times of bad weather but in times of bad bugs the wind keeps em at bay. I would definitely come back to stay here again.

Had to seek refuge here for a day and a half due to the rough waves and wind on Basswood Lake. Just enough ground for a single tent, and not really sheltered at all from relentless winds. Tie your canoe to a tree if you are bringing it up to the top of this tiny island.

Camped here in 2005. Not for the timid. Great fishing around the islands.
