There is a giant ant hill near the take-out. Shore line is shallow and rocky - not ideal for swimming. Sightlines are meh compared to other Sturgeon sites. Tent pads are very good and manufactured canoe take-out is also good.

Excellent site with great tent pads, nice and flat. Canoe access is first rate, slides onto a grassy flat, directly from the water (no lifting required), An abundance of trees for shade and hanging gear.

Stayed at this site in June of 2004. There are a few nice tent sites here. Good clearing for tents and a nice, open cooking area. Nice areas to sit and enjoy the scenery near the water.
