Agree with other commenters. The landing is good, swimming decent and the kitchen/fire pit area very good. Tent pads at a premium, a couple decent ones, and a sloping one as well. You do see traffic, but in mid-August it wasn't bad. It is on a motor lake, but the pallisades as you paddle in are beautiful. We also walked the portage to Mountain Lake and hooked up to the Border Route Trail. Nice overlook of the lakes on the Border Route trail heading east.

This site has a nice Kitchen area. Good shore line for fishing and swimming. This site is on the motor route.

This is a nice site on a busy lake that allows motor boats. Be prepared to see lots of groups traveling to/from West Pike and Caribou. I had a motor boat pull right up to camp asking if they could walk through the campsite in search of the Border Route hiking trail. If this site was not on an border lake I would have given it a 4. I kept it at a 3 because after 4:00pm the lake was as quiet as a remote lake and I had an owl hunting moths around the campfire for over an hour.

Great sight. Nice sloped rock landing. Open but still partially sheltered by young trees. Caught a smallie fishing from shore with a minnow rap.
