This is a great site to finish or end a trip if you are coming out of the Nym Lake landing. It's a short paddle from the landing so you can either have a short first day to get into the park or sleep in on your last day before leaving. There are 3 campsites surrounding this bay, plus a large sand beach for swimming. The tent pads are not the greatest for a large tent, but you should be able to find something that works. As others mentioned, this site gets a lot of use due to it's close proximity to the park entry, so practice your LNT principles and plan to pack out some trash. The various canoe landings are very easy and plenty of open rock for shore fishing.

One alright tent pad on the southeast side of the peninsula and two good pads in a nice small grove of red pines on the northwest side of the peninsula.

Really fantastic site. Great landing and swimming area. Caught walleye off southern-most point at dusk. Nice fireplace and sitting area.

Very, very nice site, but well used since it is so close to the entry point. The landing is in the bay on the south side of the peninsula and is a sloping granite slab. The bay itself is very shallow - you can walk all the way out. There is a small sand beach, but the sand itself goes all through the bay. The kitchen is nothing special - it works. The site is open red pines. There are plenty of places to put tents, but only so many level spots. You could have close neighbors to the south. The only real issue we had was the latrine - there is nowhere close to put it, and since it is a well-used site, all of the obvious places had already been used recently.
