A decent rocky landing that affords good shoreline fishing and longish shoreline walks. Very neat fire grate construction but no log seating (there were a few boulders) or view of the lake. There were a few tent pads but like the whole of the site they were lumpy and slanted. Being so close to the portage it typically might not offer the most privacy or quiet.

This was a very spread out site. Decent landing. Might be good for larger groups. Kitchen was pretty impressive, did not check out the thunderdome as we visited for lunch. The site is much further away in reality than on the map. Not a great view from the kitchen or the site. But looks like level pads and lots of room.

Probably the best site we saw on the lake. 2 good tent pads - but not flat. Lots of rocks throughout the site

Good site. Probably the best on Mountain Lake, in my opinion. Rocky beach, but open view down the lake and lots of firewood handy.
