i stopped here to reassess my options as the winds were a problem. this may be an ok spot in an emergency but otherwise it is not an option imho. i had strong south winds so i could not stay even if i wanted to. but on a side note.....just south of here, along the east shore, there is a little bay. as you enter that bay, there is an unmarked elevated site. decent landing, decent fire pit, nice view, some weather protection, not great access to/from the water due to the elevation. but i had to stay the night here. it was fine and a welcome site under the circumstances.

Small site on a south-facing granite outcrop. Two rock tables / benches and a separate sitting area. 3.5 stars
