stayed here on one short trip and have been back a few times for a break and a snack. this site does not seem to see much use. it is a sandy / beach site as others mentioned, which has its pros and cons. not much of a breeze here unless you get a south wind. curiously....the year i stayed here it was early july. i could hear the bush humming with skeeters and yet was able to sit out all evening without any breeze and there was not one bug in site. one caution for visitors here. this site seems to be a turtle nesting ground (which many other beach sites may be) as i have found nests and eggs here. so pls be aware if choosing this site. signs of a nest are usually pretty obvious so pls avoid walking or setting up on those areas.

Good site if you like beach sites. Lots of sandy areas for tents. Simple fire area on beach. Would be a great spot for lunch and a swim.

Nice beach for swimming, flat site with room for several tents. But sandy, even back into the tree line. Some people like beach sites...some people don't like sand getting everywhere.

Sand beach in a small bay. Some sheltered tent spots under the pines.
