Phasmata's review stands, although the USFS posted a sign asking people not to land on the point; with how sandy it is and the evidence of turtle nests, it's definitely best to land along the west side of camp. Blueberry bushes ring the campsite, with some presenting lots of green berries right near the west side landing. There is very little firewood to gather on this point, so maybe gather some before making camp here. A birch tree was recently felled in the campsite - looks like a safety cut after beavers failed to finish the job - so if someone with a good-sized bow saw wants to process and store the green wood for later use, have at it!

Can land on the sandy point, or on the west side. West side is best as that is closest to the camp and disturbs the delicate shoreline of the point less. All sides of the point can be accessed from camp, and there is a lot of room while still having tree cover.
