This site is by far the worst on Winchell. It is not used much. It is din the burn area, so there are no hanging trees. The landing is good - I was able to parallel park the canoe next to a flat rock. Kitchen is a little ways back with no view and no seating. Tent pad is very grassy - I did not see evidence of any tent use. However, the tent pad looked usable. A positive is that there is a large log close to the water that is perfect for sitting and looking at the lake. Though it is a 1-star, it is a usable 1-star site.
