This site was completely burned over but is starting to come back. The canoe landing is ok if done sideways. There are a couple of nice tent sites but no large trees. You could hang a tarp by the fire pit though. So, if you're tent camping and using bear barrels or Ursacks and don't need to hang your food this would be an ok/average site.

I don't know why someone would give this a 3 star rating and then write "I don't know what the site itself is like". If you don't walk around the site, then don't write about it. And don't state the obvious about it being in the burn area: anybody can tell it's in the burn area just by looking at the Paddle Planner map.
So that gripe aside, don't bother considering staying here. Other than one area totally overgrown with ferns, there are no tent pads anymore because it's all grown over. There is zero shade and site is very exposed to wind from south and west.
