The landing directly in front of the site is poor. While exploring, I found a better landing around the point, though it is still not great.
The kitchen area is acceptable and has a narrow view of the lake. The campsite itself is closed in and well protected. There is a giant ant hill near the kitchen area.
I found one good place to put a tent and possibly room for two additional tents if needed. Overall, this is a sheltered campsite and might work well in the shoulder seasons or to wait out a storm. However, I would move on if other options are available.

Though more closed-in and sheltered there is still a nice view and good swimming. Well-treed. We enjoyed this site, but there are nicer sites for sure. But very good if you want a sheltered site. The ant nest mentioned in other comment was not an issue for us.

giant ant hill next to fire. not much for viewing the stars or sunset......... good in a storm to get some protection
