Others in my group liked it more than I did. I might only give this one a "3." The landing was easy, but there's only room for one boat on the rock, unless you carry them up the steep steps. The kitchen had nice shade in the afternoon, but was very open in the morning. It got hot fast. There is no cover directly over the kitchen and tent pads. The sunset was gorgeous over the big lake. The folks in the campsite across from us were a little noisy, but it didn't bug us too much. It's a very popular lake, but there seemed to be plenty of sites available. We might have done better with sites further south, but it was getting late enough that we knew we better stop while we were ahead. The tent pads were good enough, and there were plenty of places to hang clotheslines, but not perhaps as good for hammocks (rather scrubby), and difficult to find a good tree for hanging the food bag.

I thought this one was much better than the campsite on the other side of the island. It has a very small, sloped rock landing, but it leads up to a much bigger area. The tent pads are level and very big. It has a good view of the lake, but it still has some wind protection. There are several large rocks that can be used for sitting.

Nice site. Elevated quite a bit above the landing, so doesn't look great from the water, but actually good tent pads, sitting area, etc.
