The landing is OK - not the best, not the worst. There is a nice sitting ledge in front of camp. There is a great view of the unburned part of the lake to the south, except for one tiny island (how did that burn?). If you are using all of the good tent pads, it will be a little crowded.

Stopped in for a lake trout shore lunch. Really nice campsite with many mature trees. Path to latrine forks with left (from camp) path leading to north side of the island with a great small sand beach.

Great view. Large site. We really liked this one but there were a lot of mosquitoes.
