The landing is semi-difficult, with a large boulder marking the shoreline. I found an easier landing option on the south side of the site where the rock is smoother.
Once past the landing, the campsite opens up into a scenic clearing surrounded by large white pines and pine duff. The kitchen has a narrow view toward the landing, but the setting back in the woods is pleasant and protected.
I found two very good, flat tent pads and room for a couple more tents that would work reasonably well. There is also a large cedar near the shoreline that adds to the setting.

I got to this campsite on a rainy day with various nearby thunderstorms. I was wet, tired, and ready to be done with my day especially after an extremely windy traversal of Phoebe Lake! This campsite was large and open, several great tent spots, and a pretty view of Grace. There is a great rock for sitting on while eating dinner. Landing is not as terrible as the other review says in my opinion. there is a sandy ledge that can be used.
