This campsite is protected and surrounded by cedar trees.
The landing is easy, consisting of a smooth, flat rock that I could parallel park on. The view from the kitchen is very obscured by cedars and young white pines, though you can see some water.
I found one large, obvious tent pad near the kitchen. I also found several other spots where tents could be placed, though many are on flat rock, moss, or uneven ground. If you walk out onto the nearby rock point, there is a good view of the lake. Depending on wind direction, the site may still get a light breeze to help with bugs.

Currently (2025), this site is not a good option. It had and has potential, but recent winds have created dangerous widowmakers and leaning trees around all tent sites and the kitchen area. The main trail to the latrine is inaccessible due to 2 large trees spanning the rest of the area.

Good site with a lot of room but might be buggy during the earlier part of the season.
