This is a no-frills campsite that does the job. The landing is a smooth, flat rock directly in front of the site. The kitchen is close to the landing and has a clear view of the lake. I found one very large gravel tent pad and another usable tent pad behind the kitchen. The site is surrounded mostly by balsam trees, with limited larger pines.

Nice site with beautiful view of the lake. We spend two nights here. Younger trees, so no good bear tree.

Slightly sheltered, lots of deer trail on hills to the north, nice sandy swimming area, lots of hammock hanging options, large open cook area
