The biggest drawback of this campsite is the landing. There is essentially no proper landing - just a field of boulders along the shoreline. I had to pick a boulder to step out onto, which made landing awkward.
The campsite itself is very protected and screened in. This limits the view from the kitchen but would be beneficial in poor weather or strong winds.
I found one very large, good tent pad covered in pine duff beneath large white pines. You could fit several additional tents nearby if needed, though they would not be as good. The pine duff and white pines add some ambiance despite the limited views.

Crappy landing. Otherwise a nice little site. Tucked up into the woods. Hard to get water sometimes. Loons on the lake both times I've stayed here. Paddle off to get wood. The site is picked over quite well.

I actually really liked this site. You just have to get past a couple of negatives. The landing is horrible, nothing but a boulder field, and the view of the lake is partially blocked by cedar trees. But once you get past that you realize this is an awesome site. It's nestled right in some very mature white pines and the whole site is covered in pine needle duff. And even though the view is partially blocked you still have a decent westerly view of the lake and sunset. Plus it is on a main route but feels very secluded. I would definitely stay here again.
