This is a very nice campsite and one of the better options on Beth Lake.
The landing is a flat, smooth rock and is very easy to use, which is notable since many nearby campsites lack proper landings.
The campsite sits mostly in a red pine grove with a few white pines mixed in, and the ground is covered in pine duff. The kitchen has a beautiful view of the lake. I found two excellent tent pads - one large pad near the kitchen and another slightly smaller pad down a short trail. There is space for a possible third tent near the kitchen, though it is somewhat slanted.

Absolutely gorgeous view of Beth Lake. Our family felt like this was the best "wilderness" site, despite being a pretty easy portage from Alton. We stayed two nights and both nights we were pretty sure only one other site on the lake was occupied, and all three sites were very far from this one. However, there was a lot of "through traffic" to other lakes. We saw a lot of wildlife here.
Decent cooking area.
We weathered a massive thunderstorm here and found that the entire kitchen becomes a river -- fortunately we had placed our tarp over an area down by one of the landings that was protected by a log so we stayed dry.
Could only find two solid tent pads -- a third tent would work between the cook area and the water, but that area was inundated during a storm so beware. I tarped it in the upper pad in the woods and woke up to find my stuff covered in slugs.
Someone left some homemade portage carts here. How long have they been sitting here?

Beautiful site, but not wind protected. We had lunch here. The lake is just very pretty in general with large elevated rocks near the portage for jumping in. Would love to stay here next time.
