Kitchen and tent pads are up on a hill in the pines and cedars. Protected from the wind, but it was buggy when we visited. The campsite was similar to the one to the southeast, but the space was a little bigger. The latrine was way back in the woods. There are two landings. The one on the southeast side might be the easier of the two.

This is a great campsite that is a little out of the traffic on Alton lake. The site sits among big pines on an elevated peninsula. Tent pads are large, level and sit on pine needles. The only things the site is lacking is rock along the water and open sunny areas.
