The landing is a smooth, sloping rocky point and is reasonably easy to use. The campsite itself is small but functional. The kitchen has a great view of the lake and faces west, allowing a breeze to move through the site. There is shade available when needed. I found one good tent pad, and there are good hammock options as well. Despite its small size, this site has everything I look for in a campsite. This would be my preferred site for a solo paddler or small group. For a larger group, I would use the western campsite.
