The water level on Dent Lake was unusually low, likely due to upstream beavers cutting off water flow. This exposed a large amount of rock along the shoreline, and things looked very different than if water levels had been normal.
With the low water, the landing is a long, flat expanse of exposed rock. At normal water levels, the landing would likely be very tight and difficult to locate.
The campsite itself is small and brushy. I did not find any good tent pads. I found a few spots where you could technically place a tent, but all were lumpy, rocky, uneven, and lacked soil for staking.
The latrine trail appears to have been recently cleared by the Forest Service and runs straight up a hill. I was surprised to see some charcoal in the fire grate, since I rarely see any signs of use on these types of campsites.

My friends and I stayed at this site out of desperation back in 2015. We struggled for a long time to find it. The site was extremely overgrown, but there was still a fire grate. Anything that could've been a tent pad was grown over with brush.

We stayed on Dent two nights and could find no sign of this campsite.
