This campsite is also affected by the low water on Dent Lake. The shoreline currently shows a wide “dead zone†of exposed rock and mud between the water and the previous shoreline.
The site sits on a long, sloping rock. Tent staking is likely difficult, but I found a grassy tent pad behind the kitchen and several other flat spots on rock that could be used. I counted two good tent pads and saw room for up to four tents total.
The kitchen has an excellent west-facing view and would be shaded until around midday. In the afternoon, the kitchen is in full sun, while the tent pads remain shaded. The landing is currently easy due to the exposed rock, though it may be narrower at higher water levels.

A nice site but little used and needs some attention. Great landing. Entire site slopes gently down to the lake on a mostly rocky shelf providing a great view. Fire grate is okay but the sitting logs are mostly rotted away. There are a couple of extraordinary tent pads...flat and with a mostly grassy/mossy base--one was covered with moose droppings when we were there:) Seems like the bay should be good for fishing and is accessible from shore, but we had no luck. Latrine trail is overgrown and weeds surrounded the john. But we had the lake to ourselves and were treated to a loon dance.

NIce place, except that people are cutting down live trees and leaving used TP in camp
(too lazy to use the latrine?!)

A very nice site. Great landing. Entire site slopes gently down to the lake on a mostly rocky shelf providing a great view. Firegrate area is open and close to the lake. There are a couple of extraordinary tent pads...flat and with a mostly grassy/mossy base. Seclusion!
