Really sparse campsite. Kitchen is completely exposed, and there are only a couple of tent pads, also exposed. Lack of mature trees make hammock/tarp hanging difficult. I ended up hanging my hammock about 100 feet to the east in a grassy overgrown area. A serviceable campsite, but not one that I would use for anything but spending the night while passing through.

This campsite is located on a rock point and is very exposed, with little to no shade.
The landing consists of a long, smooth, steep rock. Most of it is too steep to land comfortably, but I found the best option at the very end of the rock where the slope eases slightly.
I found one tent pad near the kitchen that is clearly well used. There is another smaller tent pad down the latrine trail. The exposed nature of the site provides excellent views, but the lack of shade is a tradeoff. A west wind should help keep bugs down here.

The kitchen area is very exposed. There is no shade, protection from the wind, or anywhere to put a tarp. Even had trouble finding someplace to hang a gravity filter. The landing is good. There is lots of access to the lake.

Open area with great views of the lake. Hard to put a tarp up near the kitchen area.
