BIG party site. Flat, and plenty of tarp trees for rain protection, and an excellent bear barrel hanging tree. A few spots on the south side for swimming, if you can manage around the rocks. Landing on the north side is a bit rocky (one big giant rock really) but easy enough.

Great site. Nice open kitchen area but also good tarp trees. Decent landing. Had an great view of the lake.

Very large open site in a cedar grove. The site is flat and on level with the water (it is not up a hill). The landings are OK. The site is especially good for large groups.

our second - larger group of 8 stayed here with plenty of space and trails to site to the south. We visited nearly all sites on Alton and this was one of the best
