Excellent site. East facing. Glorious morning sun. Iconic BWCA campsite with a huge rock face, perfect for lounging and drinking morning coffee. Great tent pads. Watch everyone come and go from the lake - magisterial view where you can contemplate existence and your corporeal form.

Great views from the exposed fire pit, which sits on a big rock. Harbor to the rest can be difficult and carrying gear up will be a chore, but the view over S. Cherokee is worth it.

This campsite is on a high and relatively level rock knob that slopes down to the lake. The tent sites are found back inside the edge of the woods where they are more sheltered. There is a tiny natural harbor on the west side of the rock that allows one canoe to land at a time.
