Fun sight. A set of old time apple trees welcomes you to this nice sandy two canoe landing set back in a bay. Decent for swimming and some raspberries, blueberries and very sour apples. The campfire area is very open and can get warm fast. Campfire needs improving and overall sight is small. Pads are mediocre and potty trail is long and boggy. A great feature is the ruined cabin. I don’t know the story, but it must have been abandoned about 80-100years ago. Any historians? This log cabin has a 4 foot double wall construction with dirt filling between the walls. Trapper cabin or just meant for the winter? The site is a must visit, but you might want to find a better site to camp at!!
