My kids and I loved this site, and we would have liked to stay here (we had already set up camp somewhere else). The landing is a sandy bottom and is very easy. The main part of the campsite is a large grass field. Because of the grassy field, it has an open feel but is still protected from the wind. There is a trail to the east end of the island with a great view. The latrine seemed far away - 75 yards from the kitchen to the latrine.

Very nice campsite with open grassy area. Good canoe landing on the south side. a short walk in the woods brings you to a big rock outcropping on the east end. Several good hammock sites.
