The first thing I noticed at this campsite was several cedars that have fallen and are hanging over the kitchen area. They create a canopy-like effect but also made me uneasy, as it's unclear how stable they are.
The landing is pretty good. It is shallow, and I was able to pull up and get out easily, though the shoreline is slightly muddy.
There is one large tent pad area that could easily fit two tents. The kitchen has a nice view of the lake, and if you sit slightly forward and to the right of the kitchen, you can see farther down Makwa Lake. The landing area also offers a pleasant view. When I arrived, there were a lot of blackflies present, which ultimately influenced my decision not to stay.

Good landing for boats, nice fire grate area and one real nice tent pad on grass. No swimming area really as the shoreline in really muddy. Since there's 2 portages close, it was nice to hike the other one as a short little side trip to go see Hoe Lake...
