The landing is tricky here. It is very rocky with sharp, pointy rocks, so care is needed to avoid damaging a canoe.
The kitchen is elevated on a rock roughly ten feet above the water and offers great views toward the south and the cliffs on the west side of the lake. The elevation should help with airflow and potentially reduce bugs.
There are three good tent pads, and you might be able to squeeze in a fourth if it's a small tent, though it would be tight. I use a hammock and was able to find a good hammocking spot partway down the latrine trail. The trees near the kitchen are spaced well but are too young and thin to work well for hammocks. This is the nicer of the two campsites on Elton Lake.

A pretty nice site. Elevated with a nice southerly exposure. There is also a small scenic island nearby. I was there during very high water, and there was a small waterfall directly across the lake to the west.
