Campsite was in rough shape, people had left dog food and trail mix in piles around the place and there was evidence of live brush being cut, and a lot of tree damage. I tried to clean it up as best as I could. There is a nice stauber at the top of the hill behind the site. Despite its size, the island has been largely picked over for good firewood no doubt due to its popularity. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and decent fishing out around the rocks. Only 4 stars out of 5 because you could hear literally every other campsite around you clear as day, and the people coming into Perent Lake from Hog always seem to drift by to examine site availability.

Great campsite. Latrine is up over the hill to the north. Trails travel around the island to enjoy. Looks like it could house a scout troop :). Some tent pad areas indicated that water would pool or collect with heavy rains, so caveat camper. Nice log based seating around the stove area (no campfires permitted at my visit). Very relaxing.

Large open site with plenty of tent pads and good kitchen area. Easy landing and canoe storage. Campsite is hidden from the lake so not a great view, but very private.

A water-level island site with some nice open space and the ability to walk around the island. Rather shallow and rocky water surrounding the island.
