Customizable Campsite GPX Downloads

This tool is available to Expedition Leader and Outfitter members and is not available in the trial version.

You can create customized and filtered GPX files using the information on Paddle Planner. You can use them for offline mapping applications or uploading to a GPS. The information is not guaranteed to be accurate, so please use due caution when using them.

These downloads are for personal use only. For any other use, including commercial and noncommercial applications and redistribution, please contact us.

You may have to right-click on the links and choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." if the download doesn't appear to be working.

Areas

Select which areas you want to include. If you do not select any, all of them will be included.

Set Boundaries

If you do not want to include all of the campsites within an area, use the button below to draw the boundaries around the area that you want.

When the map opens, click on the Draw Polygon button on the left and start drawing the boundaries. To finish the boundaries, you have to either click on Finish on the left or click on the first point of the polygon. You can also edit or delete the polygon that you created. To clear the boundaries, click on the Delete button and select Clear All. When you are finished, press the Save button at the bottom.

Campsite Types

Select which campsite types you want to include. If you do not select any, all of them will be included.

Note: A nonexistent campsite is a previously unverified campsite that someone said does not exist. We keep these in Paddle Planner's data because people have been known to make mistakes in reporting this information.

Rated Campsite Filter

Select an option if you only want to include campsites whose average rating is at least a certain value.

Tent Pad Filter

Select an option if you only want to include campsites whose average number of tent pads is at least a certain value.

Symbols and Icons

Select which symbol and icon scheme you would like to use. The Garmin icons are the default. If you use Gaia, select that one. Garmin does not recognize Gaia symbols, and Gaia does not recognize Garmin. Let us know if there are any other schemes that you would like to use.
