Closer portage that goes around the falls and is shorter.  Still has some swifts and class 1 rapids to go through after so some scouting is needed.  The portages does run farther but seems to end short with deadfall's before end.  I couldn't see final rapids chute where it ended.  Everything above was easy to run.   final chute you had to move to River left to see down but that was easy run once I could see it.  Does require whitewater skills though so if you don't have them take the further from the falls longer portage.
