I have travelled through this portage a few times in the past and found it mostly cleared in 2024. Only a few trees down that needed cutting. I took the time and knocked back some of the tag alder at the west entrance, so it should be easier to find. The portage was only partially burned during the last forest fire.

This portage can be confusing to follow / find from the Hansel Lake side, but when we did it from Glenn, it was fine.
