When paddling from Telescope Lake you will have to pull up and over a large beaver dam that has been built up over the years. This did not burn in 2021. The portage trail is easy to find at both ends and well maintained being close to the main Park access points. I cleared out both entrances and added tree blazes so even easier to find. There are still aluminum fishing boats cached on the Embryo Lake side.

A good portage trail, easy to find and follow and well used. This is part of a network of trails used by a fishing lodge on Douglas Lake.
