I found the downstream entrance to this portage overgrown, so I cleaned it out with a handsaw and marked it with a tree blaze. The rest of the portage was easy to follow despite the burn damage. I was paddling this during a dry year, so the entrance on the Telescope Lake side was a rock garden and required extra carrying to get to the lake.
