This portage also survived the 2021 forest fire, so the re-growth from the last fire is coming in thick. But it looks like this trail was recently cleared with the re-growth knocked back making a wide and easy to follow trail. There was only one very large tree that came down blocking the trail. So I made a detour around it until the Park chainsaw crews can clear it. I marked both entrances with orange flagging and tree blazes if I could find a big enough tree to blaze.

Once on the portage, it's well maintained and easy to follow. There's lots of new growth, however, and I can see it needing a lot of maintenance to stay open.
