Not sure why nobody mentions how bloody steep and high above the river this portage is! Also when looking at my video it's much longer than 70 or even 100 meters. Looks like ~150 to me. Maybe folks were getting confused with all the portages at this point? Or maybe in late season you can portage right in the river gorge? All I know is what my video clearly shows. Our route had ribbons and cut trees and a trail so we weren't off route. It was like scrambling a mountain with a canoe on my head when going up river. Again - this would suck when wet. Very scenic and easy to find otherwise. The portages along this section of river are old school. They start and end right in the river (rapids) - no time or distance wasted on making things safer or easier.

About 100m in length. Well marked and easy to navigate, there was some blowdown that I removed.

A short 70 m portage on the east side. Expect downfall due to 2016 fire. It was cleaned and flagged in August 2020.
