This portage is found in the low spot between the two ridges. It was easy to find on the west side, and I made it better by adding a tree blaze on a green tree. The east entrance is marked with a rock cairn. The last forest fire partially burned this portage, so the under growth is coming back thick. I knocked back so the growth covering up the path. Much easier to follow. But expect more standing dead to come down over the years.
