This portage is only 400 m in length as marked on the Chrismar WCPP map. When travelling east I found the first 200 m to be no problem with only one large tree down. This section was not burned in the last fire. The last 200 m to the south was burned and had numerous trees down. I only cut away enough trees to make it passable. I had to walk around numerous large trees that require chainsaw help. I marked the south entrance with a rock cairn and orange flagging on the other side.
