I took the time and cleared out this portage from the post- 2016 fire regrowth. Some of the tree saplings are growing back thick, quick and getting tall (over 6' tall). Much better now (see updated photo). The trail is now easy to follow. The upstream side is marked with a rock cairn and the downstream side has old orange flagging tape and tree blazes.
